Update
After months in the making, Jeremy Palmer finally released his Black Ink Project 2 course to the public. Get all of the details on the Black Ink Project 2 Homepage.
Jeremy Palmers Black Ink Project: Review of Day 11
This is the eleventh installment of Jeremy Palmers Black Ink Project series.
In this series, I will be reporting on my participation in Jeremy Palmers Black Ink Project webinar training course.
Each day, I will post the topic from the previous day’s session and will share at least one important idea that I took away from the session. These posts are intended as an overview of the webinars and NOT to replace participation in them.
Background
For those of you that don’t know him, Jeremy Palmer is the author of the(now free)mega-hit ebook called “High Performance Affiliate Marketing“. In this book, he details how he went from barely showing a profit to a super-affiliate.
Today’s Topic: Pay Per Click Mastery
Jeremy had Amit Mehta of SuperAffiliateMindset.com teach today’s session.
Here are the areas covered:
- Keyword research
- Segmenting keywords by themes
- Setting up an Adwords campaign
- Writing effective ads
- Conversion tracking
- Campaign structure
- Keyword bidding strategies
- Psychology of PPC
- Adwords bidding personas
- Applying the 20/80 principle to PPC
- How to make Google happy

Highlights
Week three started off with a session dedicated to pay per click marketing and how it can be incorporated into our Black Ink Project site.
I highly recommend you download all the materials when they are available for future reference. This session was them most information-stuffed session to date. I can see from my notes that I’ll be going back to this session many times until I get the hang of the methods taught in it.
Amit taught the majority of the lesson and Jeremy would reinforce points he made with examples from his own business.
My Top Take-Away
It may sound silly but it made me feel a little better to know that even a super affiliate like Jeremy is guilty of letting his emotions dictate his Adwords bidding strategy at times. That has been one of the biggest challenges with the limited Adwords campaigns I have run.
Maybe there is still hope for me with Adwords? LOL!
