Clarity Is The Key To Success

About Jeff

jeffblog1Who Am I?

My name is Jeff Jones. I am a 58 year-old downsized IT worker. I sold mint and near-mint vintage children’s books on eBay from February of 2006 until May of 2008 when I sold off the remainder of the collection I had acquired.

Since May of 2008, I am a full-time online businessman.

This blog will follow me as I grow my online business. If I have a problem with something, you probably do too. I will try to help you achieve success faster and with less headache than I did. That’s my pledge to you.

How Can I Help You?

I’m offering free 30 minute consultations to see if we are a fit. Send me a message using the contact form and we’ll set up something on skype or whatever works best for you.

I believe clarity is the key to succeeding in life and business. If you don’t know what you want or why you want it you’ll never reach the success you long for. I can help you be honest with yourself about where you are. Then, we’ll take some time to decide what’s really important for you to achieve. Then we’ll make the plan and off you go. We can check in monthly to see how you’re doing. That’s all there is to my “plan” for you.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in doing, use the contact form to send me a quick message. We’ll get it set up! Let’s do this!

Why Senjo?

Senjo is an ancient battle strategy that stresses taking stock of our personal strengths and weaknesses and using this knowledge to be victorious.

I believe that no success should be or really can be a solely individual effort and, if we can all learn from each other’s successes and failures, the learning curve can be flattened substantially.

Thank you for taking the time to join me here and let me help you move forward. Wishing you success!

Jeff

At last I found someone who is elder to me in this field. I am 30 and I am in this field for the last 3 years (though not seriously). It’ll be great to watch you in your journey. Thanks for starting this blog and sharing your experience.

    Jeff,
I saw several of your posts on EntrepreneurOnFire.com (eofire.com)and decided to check out your site. (I graduated from MTSU, so I think it’s cool you live in Nashville. Especially since Dave Ramsey, Dan Miller and Michael Hyatt are all out there.)

I like that you are up front about your age and about being downsized. Some people would see either or both as a negative, an excuse not to try new things. You’re using it to your advantage I think.

I also like that you’re sharing your journey in your new venture. I want to do something similar with my upcoming blog. It should be live later this summer at 99waystowin.com. The focus is Christian principles in the workplace, personal development and keeping a positive attitude.

I wish you well and will check out more of your posts. Thanks for launching this website. The world needs more like it.

    Hi Michelle,

Thank you so much for your kind words and visiting my site. I’m so glad you’ve found some things that resonate with you here. I am in the process of rebranding this site so it focuses more exclusively on gaining greater focus to be more successful in business and life. Don’t forget to subscribe to updates so you can watch this site grow for you! I also welcome your comments on things you see here that you’d like changed.

This site was started originally when I first began looking into internet marketing and I was all over the place trying to find a niche and audience. Like every entrepreneur, I’ve made a ton of mistakes and had massive failures. But we keep going and that’s what makes us successful.

I highly recommend John’s podcasts. Mainly, because you will hear many powerful themes repeated over and over (failures, learning, not quitting among them) and you’ll see patterns and gain insights that will help you in your business and life. I comment on nearly all episodes because I know John does great work and I want to pay him back to help the blog part of his site do better. I do NOT receive any compensation for doing so.

Finally, I’d like to suggest that you set definite deadlines for your site’s launching and work backwards from there setting definite due dates for each part of the launch. That way, it doesn’t seem like “some day” because you’ve got it all in front of you. If you have to make some changes to the timeline, that’s great. No problem. You’ll still be able to see the process in front of you. Whiteboards are great for this!

Let’s keep in touch and be accountable moving forward.

    Best,

    Jeff
